Based in Jackson, Mississippi, John Hoyt Williams is an investment and tax planning professional with experience spanning more than two decades. With a keen interest in reading, Hoyt Williams is active with the Christ United Methodist Church and drawn to inspirational works. Some of his favorite nonfiction works are The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and Raising a Modern-Day Knight.

An outdoor enthusiast, John Hoyt Williams has a particular interest in visiting national; parks across the country. He has been able to take extended RV trips with his family to locations such as Yellowstone National Park and has also visited the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park spanning the US and Canadian border. When he takes to the trail, he enjoys challenge routes at elevation and has had the opportunity to explore some of North America’s tallest peaks with his son.

A longstanding football fan, Mr. Williams travels from Jackson to Oxford on days when the Ole Miss Rebels have a home game at the University of Mississippi. He also supports the New Orleans Saints and once had the opportunity to take in a practice session with the team owners. When in Oxford, John Hoyt Williams enjoys activities such as riding dirt bikes with his son and brother, boating, and fishing on Sardis Lake.
